After five years at WSU, I graduated in 2001 with a BS in Biology, Ecology Option with a combining major in English. My undergraduate research focused on the parental care of Burrowing Wolf Spiders (Geolycosa) under Dr. Robin Richardson. Thanks to Robin and Bill for their support in my first research endeavor.

Me and the burrowing wolf spider hole!
A good burrowing wolf spider hole! The spider's chimney like structure.
Accidentally found spider holes during an AmeriCorps project. So happy!

Explaining the depth of burrows. About two to three feet deep, sometimes with chambers. Wow.
